Compassionate, Present, & Insightful

Compassionate, Present, & Insightful

I have been a deep listener much of my life, hearing beneath the surface and outward appearances and always aware of the mismatch at times, between what was spoken and what I sensed to be true.  In my high school yearbook, friends thanked me for the “deepies”, conversations that centered around the  things that were most important to them.  I chose to study communication at the University of Denver and receive a Master’s degree and have continued to deepen my understanding ever since.

I am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania and grew up next door to my Italian grandparents who left their homes to start a new life in America.  It was an inspiration to see the risks they took to create a better life for themselves. I  relocated to Colorado after attending Pennsylvania State University, where I received a BA in American Studies.  I have worked in corporate, non-profit and retail environments in a variety of jobs, but my heart’s work is to deeply listen, speak authentically and support others in creating alignment in mind, body and spirit.  I chose to continue my education and receive a graduate degree in Communication from the University of Denver.  Following that,  I had the privilege of working and studying with a mentor, who taught me the importance of listening and living from your authentic self, long before it was in the mainstream.  I continue to focus on learning how to uncover more of my true self and express myself authentically.  A few of my favorite things are:  yoga, healthy eating, tea, movies, reading, dogs and connecting with nature.
